A long cold winter...

Well,
today is the first official day of spring - Ohio is not an endless winter after all!
Two weeks ago, a very nasty Nor'Easter came across the state dumping a foot of snow where we live - and lots more closer to Cleveland.
This was just a few days after a freak day with temperatures in the upper 60s...

Truth be told, it hasn't been THAT cold this winter, I think I only saw a below zero briefly one morning - and the majority seems to have been in the 20s or 30s.

However, being a biker, it has been a LONG winter - the bikes were put away right before Thanksgiving and we just rode them home from storage last week.

The long range forecast still shows temps in the low thirties - maybe we'll be in the 60s by June... ;-)

We're starting to get out and do some caching again, this past weekend we found 30 caches - which is probably more than we have found in the past 6 months in total ;-)

Our goal is to now get to 200 finds by May 1rst, and 300 by Summers end - which should be doable. Of course, it's not about the numbers - as we are continually told by folks with 8000+ finds to their names ;-)

The days are indeed getting longer - now, they just need to get a little warmer. OK - a LOT warmer...
